Hi,

i have this circuit that works at 5V will you help me to operate it at 12V?



and what changes should I make to replace the sensor receiver and IR transmitter, with these more easily available?

Hello,

Better use this instead of the photo diode:

Then there will be no other changes needed.

ok can you give me all the new resistance values for the 12V voltage?

Hello,

For 12 Volts I would make the following changes:
R1 390 Ohms, to obtain a led current of about 30 mA
R9 1k, to obtain a led current of about 10 mA
R7 22k, to obtain a comparator current of about 5 mA
V1 15k, to have a greater adjustment range

No other changes will be needed.

Or use a 7805 5 V voltage regulator to operate the circuit from 12 V

The values I have posted are for the IR diode (you posted) and photo transistor (I posted) on 12 Volts.
