Hey guys, im wanting to create a Bass amplifier head and for the amplifier section, I want to use the Philips TDA8920BTH, it can provide quite a high amount of power at 0.5% distortion in BTL mode. What I was wondering though was how do I create a mammoth PSU for this amplifier? I would have liked to use a switching power supply to reduce the weight of the head but if a transformer based one would be best, could you advise me on what would be required and how to make it?
Thanks
