Help with HDD circuit board repair

Trying to resurrect a dead HDD long enough to recover data from it. Can anyone help identify the circled component and corresponding values in the attached photo? Is this a capacitor? Hoping by replacing this I might get it working again.

I'd say it's a diode.

Did the power get connected around the wrong way on this drive?
