Help A China Man .com
I Was thinking, how about this for an idea, no the website does not exist? (or does it? i've not looked lol, it looks unused.. (for how long lol)... but the name does not mean anything because it's just the starting point.
Basically, for every freedom of internet user, eg, the westerners, American, British (Almost), Australian (.... For how long)... most of Europe (Maybe one day even the capital for internet freedom one day...)
You sign up, and you get Karma points in exchange for helping a chinese guy, you allocated a certain portion of your bandwidth, eg say you allocate 20k/s to a chinese lady/man you can talk to them via a forum like here, and you grant them permissions to use you as a proxy to allow him/her to browse websites like facebook and google to allow them to see what the real world is like, you can allocate more bandwidth to other people who have signed up...
but we're going to need mirrors and lots of helpers, so the forum the website everything has to be a bare minium and very easily setup with another cheap domain over night, or have some very clever tricks to get around anything they can throw, even start showing people how to port forward/virtual server port 80 and host their own servers on simply nothing more than random IP addresses, however it gets done is not really of my concern, my concern is, do you think this could work?
i get 5 karma points for allocating 5 signed up Chinese behind the iron curtain, if advertising took off or some kind of revenue was able to be generated through this means, remember even if the site gets knocked down, each client connected has a cached copy of all the other machines which you could connect to and if the database is also cached and stored locally with the proxy/server on your computer, that could be used to help locate others without the need of a website or server.. remember that really old p2p file sharing app...you'd see in real time through multiple IP connections, literally having a network of IP's all acting as servers, i've not really thought about this..
good or bad idea? with enough advertisers, you could turn your 5 karma points into a custom printed mug lol help out 5 students who want to learn about what the world is really like, allow them to use facebook, sure they could all use proxies but they're so unreliable and easily detected by a firewall... we could develop the protocol to make it look like at the server end to look like a normal, infact why not have ranks who shares the most bandwith.... similar to ratio on torrent sites,,,
