Hi Staigen,

I am very pleased to know that some of the books come in handy!
I had the TTL Cookbook back in the seventies but lost it along the way somewhere quite a few years back! Unfortunately I haven’t seen any e-format versions of any of Don Lancaster’s books yet. So join the club so to speak, I am also looking forward to meet again these books!
If I find any of them, you will be the first to know and that’s a promise! ;)

Hi Doc,

I'm glad to hear but, I suggest you make a backup on a DVD in case something (Murphy's law  ) goes wrong so you don’t have to download it all again!  ;D

I have the "CMOS COOKBOOK" ! Can you scan it and convert it to PDF?
If you can, i can send the book to you, so we all can have it!
It is in a somewhat bad shape. Some loose leafs and so on.

Hi Staigen,

I am sorry but I don’t have a suitable scanner for books, I can always scan a page or two but a complete book isn’t easy. You have to bend the book open and press it against the glass to have the pages flat out on the surface or it’s no good.  This handling of a book often cracks its back and with and old rarity like the CMOS Cookbook it would be a shame. When converting pictures (from scanner) to PDF the files have a tendency to be very large! I am sure there are some tricks to make smaller files if you have Adobe Acrobat and know what you are doing with it, but I don’t. :-\
