So what is this golden-brown stuff on the jack contacts? It's kind of hard to see here but it's this golden glossy looking stuff built up around the contacts.
It's probably flux residue. All of your photos are out of focus so it's hard to tell.
Did you shine a light into the jacks to make sure there's no debris inside?
