Just wanted to introduce myself as I'm going to be posting a kind of long question. I am an artist who is beginning to work with some electronics and have many questions about the lights, LED's, etc. that I want to use. Hoping I can get some help here!

When the time comes to start asking questions... give us as much info as possible about your project and what you are trying to achieve. It makes it easier for us guys to help you out.
various members here have experience in different fields of electronics and there's sure to be some one amongst us that can point you down the right path.
Also its nice if you sign you name at the bottom of your posting, that way its more friendly if we can respond to you by name instead of just "hello there ....."
