I have an HP pavilion that started throwing a BIOHD-4 Error and I found a Smart Error on the main 320g drive.
According to the specs, this system can't format anything over 320g, and I have installed two(2) 500g init.

So looking the motherboard over, there were a few bulging caps, so I replaced them with similar caps, only to have those new caps bulge also...
I was checking out the cap specs, and found there are lower ESR caps in the same specs, 105 degree, 6.3v, 820uf. I have ordered them and was I expecting them yesturday...

I am going to change the KZ caps for MZ caps to see if that changes anything.... Is there an ESR spec I can read about that might calm my nerves? Should I use higher voltage caps to maintain freq? Is my old Vista machine about to go belly up from all this eyesore?

Does anyone really care?

Should I go see the shrink again?
Is payment an option?

Does anyone need an HDMI|4K adapter?

The replacements bulged straight away ?

1) You may have put them in the wrong way around
2) the power rails that they are across has excess voltage on them
and that indicates a power supply problem
