Good morning netizens.

Last week I submitted some prototypes for testing and verification by a
qualified electrical/electronics engineer who's regular job it is to
certify electrical/electronic installations for legal and safety
legislation compliance. I am not going to send the device overseas where I
have no control over it.

I am preparing more prototypes for submission to further laboratory analysis
also. There are govenmental laboratories in a complex at a place called
Gracefield here in Wellington, NZ. These are the guy's who will be
undertaking that analysis. There is another laboratory in Auckland to whom
I will send the device in the new year. Their results won't be available
until late January - early February 2004.

The LED Accelerator <http://www.geocities.com/ledaccelerator> will be on
public display between 10 - 20 January 2004 at an Ingenuity/Inventors Expo
being held in the Wellington region.<http://www.kiwiingenuity.net> for
details.

It is expected to take a bit longer for the government labs to come up with
results as there are intervening holidays and new year celebrations to
contend with. With best endeavours the first of two laboratory test
outcomes will be posted in the first week of the new year.

In the mean-time I await Adam Aglionby's camera but also I have a mate with
a cellular camera-phone who is going to take some pic's for publication
over the next week.

Try and get some proof of the device operating.

I am not going to send the device overseas where I

Seems sensible

I just had a quick look at the small cct layout on his website.
Looks like a very simple 555 timer cct to me.
The pinouts match perfectly.

Hard to see what the fuss is about.
