Ing someone can help me identify the transistor B1143 T 5D, as shown in the attached pics. When i enter the code into google
it comes up sb1143, i've no idea if that is the same spec. If it turns out the part is obsolete could someone advise me on a like for like replacement and where to buy it.

Yes, it is the same component.
Many manufacturers drop or omit the first number and letter for many reasons. But usually because of space on the casing.
In your case, it is an On Semi component. On Semi Datasheet
