Hi all.

I've been looking around here for a while now (anonymously) and i thought it was probably about time i signed up.

Unlike some other techie oriented forums i frequent, this place seems a great deal more welcoming and willing to nurture as opposed to just being a place to shout about how clever [you usually think] you are while belittling others. Please tell me i'm not wrong on that point!

At the present i work as a self employed IT consultant though way back in the mists of time i do vaguely remember partaking of a degree in electrical & electronic engineering.

I enjoy electronics, coding, and generally 'fixing stuff'. given some more time (like 32hrs in the day & 15 day weeks maybe) i'd have a much shorter 'current project' list, but i suspect i'm not alone with that problem!
