Let's say Multimeter X has 4 digits & maximum display of 1999,
what does it mean if:
The best accuracy of DC voltage measurement is stated to be 0.5%+1?

Hi Zeppelin

Many of us can't reach E-Lab at the moment! Not me, until now, not Ante, not Audioguru, and how many more that can't reach E-Lab at the moment, i dont know!

is stated to be 0.5%+1?
This mean that the accuracy is 0.5%, plus/minus 1 number(count)

Hi

anybody here,

+ or -  0.5% usually means that range of inaccuracy of full scale, there is also a residual potential error of + or - 1 digit.

Is that any clearer?
