need help for making a tiny transmitter and its tiny receiver

experts,
i am having lot of ideas, but just a beginner.
this time i need help from you
that i need to make a tiny Transmitter and a tiny receiver for that.

that both should need to use button batteries .
the tiny receiver will hide on an item among 4 or 5 items.
so when this transmitter comes near to that item, this have to let us tru a buzzer. so we can find that item.

i want to make a kid game.

so experts pls help me by sharing from ur side

welcome to EP :)

I don't want to burst you bubble, but I have to be honest and you need to be realistic
for a beginner, its probably somewhat well above your current abilities at this time

aim for some easier projects using batteries, LEDs resistors etc and start learning about circuits and components and what they do

Think about a simple radio controlled car at 49Mhz. The car would go forward always when on and had a simple receiver listening at 49.125 MHz The transmitter was a simple crystal oscillator using the 49.125 frequency. The receiver had one job. Engage a DPDT relay that reversed the motor to back up the car swiveling the front wheel so it turned. there are lots of ideas on the internet. Build all of this on breadboards using signal transistors like 2n3904 NPN and 2n3906 PNP
