need help identifing this diode,radar unit

I understand that the yellow thing is a capacitor.

This is what I bought K-Band (24GHz) Low Barrier Mixer Diode MA4E913-119 by M/ACOM

OK good ... now we are on the same page

not sure why the mixer diode would be failing --- strange
I guess all you can do now is try one in the unit and see if it solves the problem

Well I just got off the phone with decater electronics they said they always replace the
Schottky mixer diode they want 60.00 for one diode I have a part number p402-ma40180.

Some diodes used in high frequency devices are very sensitive and can be blown with an ohmmeter during checking. Ed.
