hey..

i am interested in the project "solid state power control". we are having a defense and we chose this project. but, we are unable to simulate it neither obtain an output. please help me analyze this, we are still beginners in electronics.

how can we know that it is effective?how does it works?
what did NE555 timer does?

You forgot to provide a link to the project so I had to look through hundreds of projects.
There is no project called "solid state power control" but I found one called "Solid State Power Controller" here http://www.electronics-lab.com/projects/motor_light/041/index.html
Is it the project you are talking about?

The project has text that explains what each 555 timer is for.
You can also look in Google or on the datasheet for the 555 timer.

You need a simulation program that knows all the details about a 555 timer and you should also know about all its details.
