Recently completed installation of a NESS D24 with NESS radio receiver.
Have wired the external Horn to the Siren B output, as per installation
manual for siren chirp on arm and disarm with radio keys.
I also have two internal piezo top hat screamers, one upstairs and one
downstairs wired in parallel to the Reset output, again as per installation
manual.
According too the manual, with the appropriate options enabled, the external
siren should chirp once on arming and twice on disarming when using the
radio key, the problem I have is that the Reset output also triggers when
siren B chirps, thus creating a lot of additional unacceptable noise. The D
24 manual mentions nothing about the Reset output also being triggered when
Siren B chirps, but unfortunately both Siren B and reset outputs seem to
activate when the radio key are used. Is there a way to fix this problem,
i.e stop the Reset output being triggered on arming and disarming with the
radio key so that only Siren B chirps ?.
The only solution I can think off is to remove the piezo screamers and
replace them with internal horn speakers connected in parallel to the Siren
A output, leaving the external horn speaker on Siren B.
Would be extremely grateful if someone has a better solution. Thank you.
Tony.
