Hi guys,
I`ve got this old ibm t/pad 600x and try to put it on the run again.......
Got ubuntu & linux puppy o/s & try to format it to this machine but once I powered it on,
it comes out on the screen with 1999305 code on the top left corner.............
anyone out there have any clues for this error?
And as for ref. this machine has no battery,no cmos battery & cd drive is not working...
Pls can anyone out there give me a positive suggestion weather or not that this machine
can still be saves & run like normal? or I just put it in a trash bin....

You'll probably have more luck posting this on a PC forum, as it's not really an electronics problem.

I did some googling (http://www.computerhilfen.de/hilfen-5-212783-0.html) and 1999305 apparently means that there's no boot device. If you've got no cd-drive, then you may need to try and boot from a USB drive to install the OS (just make sure you've got USB boot enabled correctly in the BIOS).
