Hi hotwaterwizard, thanks for you post..this optocoupler build with servo motor and it has 5 pin on it, the label printed on the Optocoupler chases is IA07 SHARP07 , on the PCB one pin of the resistor connected to VCC and the other is series with anode of infrared (transmitter) and the cathode of infrared is connected to GND, the infrared is parallels with 100nF metafilm capacitor. The receiver has 3 pin, one is connected to VCC (RED) and another one is connected to GND (GREEN), while the other one is the output (YELLOW). I dont know what kind of output of this optocoupler is..current or voltage..is there a current type output of optocoupler ?
