Hi all,

playing around with a USB to Serial converter (picture attached), besides the capacitors and resistors, I noticed two components (marked in red cycles), which I cannot recognize.
Several Google searches gave arbitrary results, so I thought to ask here.

Thanks in advance,

Hello
The green one looks like an MLV transient suppressor or a fuse. The second one looks like a resistor array (network) which is more than one resistor in a package.
Thanks
Adam

Agree with Adam on the resistor array(1K ohm).

The green one is most likely an SMD fuse.
It is in series with pin 1 of the USB connector , the +5V output.
Probably 5 for 0.5A.
