Hey! Im just a newbie screaming for help hehe =D
well thing I just order home a bunch of 2 lighting LED diods for no reason and I kind of wanna make use for at least one of them. U can already see what I wanna do here right?
The diod in the circuit is at a on or off mode,, well I wanna change it so my 2 lighting diodLED (red and green) take its place,, green and "on" the water is "ok", will keep beeing the same,, just shangeing so the "off" mode, will be the red light. I dont know if I need

Hi Mike,
Just add another CD4093 IC.
Connect its 1st gate's inputs in parallel with the inputs of IC1b or IC1c.
Its output drives all 4 inputs of gates 2 and 3.
Their outputs are connected together and to the anode of the green LED.
The cathode of the LED is grounded and also the inputs of gate 4.

When the soil is not wet and is not dry, either both LEDs will light or neither. This is because the Schmitt-trigger threshold voltages of both ICs are different.
A solution to this problem is to use a single CD4093 for U1b, U1c the additional gate required together from the same IC. The two gates driving the green LED must also be together from the same IC. ;D
