POtting Balls into the basket!

Hi guys!


Well! i want to make a robot that should pot tennis balls into the basket which is present at the height of about 45 cm. So what do u think the best and accurate and fastest mechanism of it would be. Please provide me some links to study if possible about the mechanism u suggest.

Ok, what have you got so far in terms of thoughts and sketches? Any plans on how to make it move like steppers or servos and so on? Which are your weak points, I mean what parts of the construction are you most worried about?
Sorry to answer with a bunch of questions but it helps to know where in the process you are right now.
