Problem with LCDtv screen

Can anyone help me with Technika M19/20A GB-TCDI-UK ref Tesco the lcd display screen stays completely black but you can hear everything working fine. Would be grateful for any input.

its possible that the backlighting fluoro or LEDs or their driver circuits have failed

see if you can get a service manual online and we can go from there
