This isn't "Rocket Science", you know....10Micron Air Filtration
using multiple standard home venilation type filters in series
and a large input duct, then a spark precipitator, and finally
a small DC Brushless fan driving the air thru Hospital Grade
10Micron Filter mounted in a 10" Pvc Pipe. Then necked down
to the 2" Air intake on the 20Kw Northen Lights diesel Genset.
Up here in Alaska we do get Volcano Ash, on occasion, but this
system even works for some of the medieum sized Powerhouses
(up to 3 Megawatt) around. You just do the filtering on
the air intakes to the Powerhouse, and create Positive
Pressure inside, to keep the alaska dust at bay........

You're wasting your time. He has previously asked for help in finding
nylon stockings to use as dust filters...couldn't find them anywhere.

Very informative, thanks.

The question about nylon hose fabric related to getting it by the yard,
rather than buying stocking.
I have searched on the web, and also on foot in NYC, but have not been able
to find a source for this fabric by the bolt.
