Regarding earlier post: How To Turn Off Or Disable Bluetooth?

I found how to disconnect the Bluetooth by taking out one of the diodes. As suggested by Harald Kapp, I took out the 3rd diode (C29) down, but not the 1st one (C17) as was suggested. Bluetooth signal disappeared and even the Bluetooth icon from the control panel disappeared too.

Alpicool T50 portable fridge seems to work fine but just not sending out any constantly Bluetooth signals now.

Glad you sorted it.
BTW, C29 & C17 are capacitors not diodes.
C is the clue!

So happy I found this!

I'm looking to do exactly the same thing with my brass monkey 30L fridge, which from what I've heard, is almost identical to the alpicool.

I've taken out the chip, and the Bluetooth module is identical.

I could just do as you do... just wanted to clarify - if you look at my image, the red and the orange parts are the Bluetooth module, yes?

And is there any reason the capacitor you removed is better to remove than any of the others? Or the big black chip?

Thanks for doing this! There's others like you with genuine concerns about Bluetooth safety (no desire to sleep next to a transmitter thank you)
