hi..,

Electronic guys,
How are you doing these days?

Coming to the point,
I'm a kinda do it my self guy.
so,

I'm going to make my own " wrist watch "
______

Specifications : -

step -i

a) It will keep track of my body temperature,
b) Atmospheric Pressure, &
c) Weather conditions.

step- ii

a) North-South Indicator( digitally )
b) At a particular place showing the strength of
Earth's magnetic field,
c) position of all the planets in our solar system.

step-iii

a) as usual boring digital clock,
b) chronometer,
c) alarm, etc.

I got these ideas,
if you have any interested
ideas, please add them.
it would be very helpful for me.

Thank you :)

Had damn near the same idea fifteen years or so ago. Not much came
of it as I decided it'd need three or more displays and the
magnetometer would have been nearly impossible to implement at the
time. Also, batteries wouldn't last all that long though I did manage
to find some second-hand store watches with teeny solar cells and even
a couple tritium-filled "permanent" backlights.

However, pretty much all those functions can be had in an off-the-
shelf watch, so you might look at how they're implemented
commercially. Try second-hand store watches for parts; you'll be
surprised what's available for extremely cheap. Strap several on the
same band, add some "steampunk" decoration, and start a fashion
trend. ;>)

Anyway, I decided it would be simpler to build a Doc Smith-style
Lens but I couldn't source any of the requisite living crystals (also
the "plain platinum band" was a tad pricey at the time and hasn't
gotten any cheaper), so I opted to build a Green Lantern-style power
ring instead.
Thank you :)

Glad to help.

This doesn't quite go back to steampunk, but it's definitely a
retro watch design:
