Where can I, in Australia, find high performance solar cells of
approximatelly 9cm X 9cm dimensions?
(it will be used in a university project of building a working prototype
nanosatellite)

What voltage and wattage are you looking for?

Whatever power (voltage & current) I could get from an 9cm by 9cm square
cell.
Our prototype is limited by using an array of only 8 cells with 9cmX9cm
dimensions.

Anna your chances of finding anything 9cm x 9cm is next to impossible.
We have some small panels approx 5.5cm x 5.5cm that are designed to charge 3
x 1.2v NiMh

Talk to BP, Sharp, or other of your choice, explain the project, promise
credit for the company. You might even get the cells for free.
