SteelSeries X9 - converting to USB c port.

Hello,

I got 2 pairs of SteelSeries X9 and the charging port Micro USB broke off. I decided to replace it with USB C, but something is not right.
When charging, the Amps do not go lower than 0.400A, even after a few hours.
On a working pair, the charging amps start from about 0.300A and goes to 0.0A till fully charged.
Also when the headphones are on, when I try to charge them they are turning off straight away.
Would there be some kind of short on both of them with USB C?
I was also thinking about installing a tiny board charger and connecting it straight to the battery.

Without getting too involved straight away, micro USB is different to USB C.
You can’t just swap Willy nilly!.

I have used a USB C port with 2 wires, how do you think I would solder them?

USB-C can be connected either way, so only using two wires can potentially cause reverse polarity.
Get the correct connector for your headphones.
