
Pretty sure that's a 5VDC (or could be a 3.3VDC) voltage regulator. They have them on Arduino Pro Mini's, as seen here in the schematic, and the picture I just took with my USB microscope of the actual PCB.

Don't let the MIC5205 throw you off. That's what it's listed as on the schematic, but not on the actual IC.
