So, I had a new idea.

Enclosures for a guitar pedal can get quite expensive, and are sometimes too small for through hole work.

So, rather than spend $24 on an enclosure, I bought 4 junction boxes for $11 at Home Depot. They look cool, (in a rustic sort of way) and they do the job.

Have a look at the attached

by the way, this model, in my line of designer pedals, is called “The Jorneyman”

Yeah I think it has something to do with economy of manufacturing scale, that I can get electrical boxes much cheaper than electronics project boxes, sometimes the electronics project boxes even cost more than an equivalent enclosure housing a ready-made product .

Sometimes you can get the boxes cheap on ebay or one of the various electronics surplus 'sites, or foreign seller groups like aliexpress if you can wait a month for shipping.

@VB- here is a pic of one wall of my gear. There are three other walls that are also full.

From left to right:

Black Studio Les Paul- An angry sounding guitar. Good for rock.

Fender Deluxe American Strat: Great versatile guitar. Quality built. Made in USA. Stage worthy. Played many gigs with this.

Fender Brad Paisley Worn Torn Tele: Very light guitar. Made of a particular wood that makes it feather light.

Fender Squier John 5 Tele: Surprisingly excellent guitar. Love this guitar. Use it often in gigs. Humbucker pickups- not what usually comes in a tele

Ovation Celebrity- sounds great on recordings and plugged in for gigs. Not a great sound if unplugged because bowl is shallow0- I have 10 other Ovations.

Bottom rack- left to right. Rickenbacker bass- collector bass
Ovation Balladeer= greta sound. Made in USA. Deep bowl
Ovation Applause Bass- not great but it has its place.

Nice little collection.
Being technically inclined, mine are mostly B C Rich with various implementations of DiMarzio and Seymour Duncan transplants.
My acoustic is a Martin 000 that I literally bumped into at a music shop. It rang with an exquisite tone so I gave it a home.
