i wana send and recive data in micro project with usb port but i dont know any thing about it i need some datasheets and source about usb&its conection with micro please help me

There was some discussion of USB in the microprocessor area. It seems to me that you have to pay a licensing fee to develop such hardware. Why not use serial port?
