which amp to build?

here are 2 amps that i am thinking of building:

which should i build? i am aware that the first has some errors in the schematic and the power supply. i also probably need some help figuring those out too.

oh, and also, does anyone know anything about the people who designed these amps? would it be helpful to contact them? or do they only speak russian or something?

Hi Quincy,
Those projects are pretty old and the old parts might be hard to find. It is too bad the first one has errors that were not corrected. I didn't analyse the second one. Newer designs are better.

What will the amplifier be used for?

Audio equipment or Instrument amplification?

In the event you plan to build a single channel amplifier for an Instrument; Guitar/Bass etc...
Perhaps, you may desire the aura of tube amplification since it far exceeds silicon concerning instrument amplification.
