Hi, i have been studying the datasheet for the 4060 counter and oscillator used in the fridge door alarm project found in this website.I have tried to read the datasheet and i have seen that the delay time is obtained by the equation (2.2Rc*Cc).On substituting the values of C1 and R3, i don't get the value of 20 seconds.Could you please assist me?The datasheet is found in www.datasheetsarchive.com Also i would like to use the fridge door alarm to activate a motor that will actually close the fridge door alarm.Could you please lead me to a place where one can learn about motors.

Hi,i would like to obtain either a motion detector circuit or an optical circuit that can be used with the fridge door alarm.This is so as to prevent the alarm from going off when one spends a long time either removing or putting something in the fridge.

Hi, i would like to use the fridge door alarm project available in this website.I would like for it to incorporate a mechanism that activates a motor automatically shuts the frdge door when the alarm goes off.In addition i would like the circuit to also have a sensor mechanism that senses when someone is removing or putting something in the fridge.So if the person takes a long time but is still getting something from the fridge the aalrm doesn't go off but waits until the person finishes.If the person forgets to shut the door the circuit waits for the delay time to expire before the alarm goes off which on going off the motor is activated to close the door.Could you assist me to obtain a complete circuit that does all of the above?Thanks in advance.
