  1. I am assuming that I could even buy the $15 meter and take it apart and somehow find the lead which is the actual salinity measurment, run that through an a/d and into my microcontroller?
  2. I took a look at the sesnor and I would like to get one that is very accurate and also something that I can use to interface with my microcontroller. I am willing to build one myself as I am new to electronics and would really like to learn some things. How exactly can I build one of these? Epoxy and liquids have been mentioned but I do not know how. I only understand the basics, but if the process is described I am sure I will understand and if not then try my hardest to. Can anyone help me? Thanks for your patience as I am a newbie.
  3. Can anyone help me in how I can make a homemade salinity sensor to determine the salinity of saltwater for an aquarium?
