Hi, If there is no shortcut, I will go through anything which will lead me to understanding these...... My subject is electronics but I'm only a beginner and wants to go fast.....that's why I'm always try to understand everything...... Thanx SM2GXN, As u know I'm new to electronics,I want to study about these transmitters..... so, if you could suggest me any article or book available online,then it will be of great help to me...... May be in the resources section.......but I'm using dialup and unable to download those books due to connection problems now-a-days.....If anyone can filter those books list and specify me which one is the best for studying these transmitters,then I'll arrange from somewhere to get the book on cd.....I know your time is precious but it will be of great help to me. Well,I think it is better for me to concentrate on the tv tx than remote b/c without tv tx what's the purpose of remote ;D ;D ..... Of course Sir, I said in my previous posts that range is not a big issue..... But I said that for remote switch (i.e. for switching ON or OFF my tv tx through a remote or u can say some another tx........That was only a design idea .....I'm not an expert.... )..... TV tx should have a good range but I'm ineterested in better quality than range....but range will be a bonus.... The simplicity of RF Modulator gives me an idea that it's range will be very short....I don't know how much.... The web-ee modulator contains only 1 input for video..... ?

Sorry Sir,but I'm still unable to understand what u r saying.... what's the connection of an RF modulator with video tx.... ??? How could i send my video output from my VCR to my TV without any connection b/w the two????????

I searched for video tx and found many.... But I'm unable to decide which one is better and why.... I've attached one of them....... I really don't know how to judge... Perhaps, you can help me.... Please give me some tips ....... How can I combine my audio and video outputs from VCR to connect to this crkt(my guess ...from poptronix???) Is this crkt not better than poptronix?.....this crkt uses crystal accuracy ...Isn't it?

Range is not a big issue....it can be small to remain in the limits...... but what i want is to operate my tx (for suppose if I make a video tx..and it is put somewhere not far from my house or can be in my house...if range is realy serious!! I will want to switch on that tx by sitting in front of my tv....just what I am trying to do is to combine a remote switch and a video or audio tx......Can u guide me on this....

Receiver?? how?? how can i use it to operate as a switch(for eg. to switch on a transmitter(video tx for suppose) placed somewhere at a distance where my transmitting pulses(for switching purpose) can reach that can switch the second transmitter(video tx or ....) )

Audio, Can u tell me about (Video tx)it's complete block diagram.....or Is it just similar to voice tx.

Wanted to know your views on FRB fm transmitter attached below..... I want to try one of them(FRB or Veronica with PLL)....which one will u suggest me and why?? I think FRB is better (Veronica has less pre-emphasis and involves more parts) and involves less parts??

Audio,I think i didn't know how to do tuning and adjustment.....I asked someone and he told me ...... The Transmitter is working really good now....I haven't yet tried to measure the maximum range but has tried it with a good distance and transmission is good.... I tried this crkt to get the basics and it has really motivated me and I will be proceeding furthur with Xtal controlled transmitters etc......I don't think that I've to mention that u r too good :D

Audio Guru FM TX circuit

Hi Audio and all, I implemented your circuit,Audio...but I changed 330nF to 300nF,Used 100 nF and 5-35pF to 4-30pF.....I was unable to find LM2931A 5.0 .....I used 7805(Is it ok??).....I heard a whistling sound!!! That whistling sound spoiled all the voice which i was transmitting...just i got an idea that voice has been received....Why is that whistling sound coming??? ....I am nearly not receiving the voice..... If it is not the parts replacement problem then can u give me an idea at what point to troubleshoot?

And what about renaud stereocoder.....it uses lot of parts but what u r telling about the encoders ....I think for good results ,the crkt might become complicated? .... 222_stereo_enc.zip

Hi Audio,I just read the specifications of Veronica PLL (this is attached) and it says that Pre-emphasis: none or 50 uS also there is written "If the 1 watt PLL is tobe connected with the veronica limiter compressor or stereo coder then pre-emphasis is not req. .To disable pre-emphasis remove C2 from the PCB." I also read in an article "Pre and Deemphasis networks are characterised by their time constant. In the USA the standard is 75 uS, but in UK it is 50 uS so anything designed or bought from there needs slight modification. In a mono TX the pre-emphasis network can be built into the front end of the exciter. For a stereo TX such a network must NOT be in the exciter or it'll play hell with the composite stereo signal from the encoder. Instead you need two networks, one for each channel, on the inputs of the stereo encoder, They're actually often built into the stereo encoder" from this the pre-emphasis looks ok...but the review says that no pre-emphasis is provided http://www.irational.org/sic/radio/veronica-1w.html ....why? u also said there is no pre-emphasis...is the crkt wrong ?
