  1. Anyone can help me knowing how to interface the ISA? Tutorials, Readings, Resources, links to them please?
  2. any1 hav any idea how to use a hex inverter IC as a modulator / demodulator? Like for RF transmissions. I've seen the chip on a wireless doorbell... Tnx.
  3. that is a much more complicated scope. i also found that while searchin the web.. I would just like the basic one. I'm pretty sure that it only consisted of a: 10k potentiometer... one of the pins was attachd to an alligator clip (for the ground) one to the the tester stick (for the positive) the other to the female audio jack... then there was a capacitor sumwer between 2 of the pins...cant recall where or what. and lasltly, a male audio chord, to the PC s.card and the female jack.. thats it. Thanks anyway.... :)
  4. I was wondering if any1 knew how to make a scope that could measure frequency through the computer's soundcard. I saw one before, it utilizes only a potentio, capacitor, then the aligator clip and tester stick... it was then plugged in the sound card... then a program was used. no wori bout the program, theres lots everywhere... just the ckt of the scope... tnx.
  5. This is the receiver of a laser sensor... I can't seem to get the desired output voltage. This stage doesnt involve any modulation/demodulation yet, the problem is just with the output from the OP-AMP... Q1 is where the laser is pointed. Q2 is a compensator for ambient light... When laser is present, voltage Vb is approx. 4v... When no laser, approx. 7v, room light condition. When I hit the photo trans with laser.... The volatages Vb=4, Va=7, which would render a difference of "3V"... The gain of op-amp is R7/R1 = 10! The output should be 10(3) = 30, or limited by the supply to be 12 peek2peek. But, my output is only approx. 2 volts... what could be the problem?
  6. or better yet. can any1 gv me a ckt or idea on modulating laser. so the receiver end wil only respond to this laser.
  7. how do u set frequency for the laser u transmit?tnx.
  8. Good Day... I just want to ask if anyone has an idea how to amplify a laser transmitter, or in the receiver side in order to acquire operation even in long distances. The ckt im building is for use in our car racing track where it activates & deactivates a timer on disruption of laser projection... The maximum distance that our device could operate in right now [from transmitter to receiver] is just about 1&1/2 the width of a car. ANy1 have ideas?
