Thanks, I tried to make this shematic from the datasheet of FT232. But it is possible to use a mobile phone data cable instead of FT232? It also creates a virtual com port, but has only 3.3V (most of them). the optocoupler needs 5V. How can I get the optocoupler work on a GSM data cable? Thanks

Hi everyone Does anybody know how to get this working: The circuitry is an RS232 Optical Isolation which connect on Serial COM port. How can I make an adapter to get this circuitry to work on USB? Thanks
