  1. I have a situation where I need a circuit to activate a relay differently depending on whether it receives a constantly high input or an input with a frequency of 1Hz. For the constantly high input I would like the output relay to turn on and off at a preset frequency (probably about 2 Hz but I will need to have this adjustable) For the 1Hz input, I would like the output relay to turn on and off at a lower frequency (probably a period of about 7 seconds, but again I need this to be adjustable). I have found some information on how to do one scenario or the other but I have not found a way to integrate them together so that the circuit can tell which scenario is happening and react accordingly. Thanks very much!
  2. I would like a simple circuit (if it exists) that can activate a transistor/relay when a particular sound is detected. There is a high frequency buzzer that I need to use as a means to activate a circuit that controls a vibrating pager. I don't have access to the circuit where the buzzer is located so I'm forced to try to use the sound itself as the trigger. Any clues where to start would be greatly appreciated. Mark
