Hi
Just burn all the excess power sounds awful to me, cant you use it for something good, making hydrogen or something. ???

Hi
Have you tested the cirquit in the thread "sensitive parabolic microphone"?
I belive it will work.

??
//Staigen -
Thanks both of you
Did you checked up the radiostaton, and listen to the music? Its online!
It have been running here since tuesday night! Night and day! ;D

Hi Ante
If I find any of them, you will be the first to know and that’s a promise!
I have the "CMOS COOKBOOK" ! Can you scan it and convert it to PDF?
If you can, i can send the book to you, so we all can have it!
It is in a somewhat bad shape. Some loose leafs and so on.

Hi there
Tune the antenna to 460-470 Mhz instead of building an antenna tuner! :)
I will send you my adress later.

Hi
What is gmrs / frs ? -
Hi everybody, i'm feel that i am about 12 to 17 years old again!
I was 60 years old in this week, and got a little present, just a tiny one, it was only an URL, but it make me feel like i'm back in the 60-ies or so. Its an URL to a radiostation that is playing the tunes i were listening in those days(Radio Luxembourg, Radio Nord and so on). Heres the URL:

Hi there installer2001, velcome to the forum
LM386 cirquits usally works good, also TDA2002/TDA2003 cirquits! Many others are good too!
A bad design can ruin the performace of an amp, make a good design! ;D ;D

Whats the poll for?

Hi there Ante
First of all i will say thanks for all the books! Thank you
Second, is it possible to request a book or two, namely "CMOS COOKBOOK" and "TTL COOKBOOK" written by Don Lancaster? These books will getting you to know the 4000-series and TTL-series of ic:s very well!

Hi all of you
This is the topic(thread) i was talking about in an another thread!
Here you can upload some pics of your lab or workingbench for us other to look at!
I gonna upload some as soon i can borrow a camera from somebody! :) :D ;D
And by the way, my lab is a real mess, so dont be shy!
//Staigen -
Hehe
My lab is a mess. You don't want to look there.
Looks like mine then ;D ;D . Of course we all want to see it, and that goes for all others too, send up a few photos of your lab! Maybee we should start a new topic first, named " My Lab" or something!

Hey Audoiguru
A few photos from your electronics lab would be nice :)

Hi
I would use 1mm wire for an airwound coil.
I think 0.8 mm will be just fine, its only 10 turns
//Staigen -
Hi
Audioguru is right, the RC-snubber is for stopping oscillating, not to reduce crossover! :)
//Staigen -
Hi Audioguru
What do you think of making the coil airwound?
//Staigen -
Hehe Audoiguru, replying at the same time
//Staigen -
Hi
I dont think you need the resistor, the coil can be airwound, its so small and have enough gauge to support itself! :)
//Staigen -
Hi
I disagree. R14 is 1 ohm and is already in parallel with the coil
Oops, i made a mistake! Yes Audioguru, the coil is not wound around R14, but connected in parallell with it! Then your coils are just right as they are, faizanbrohi! :)Maybe the parts list value for R14 is wrong. All power amplifier circuits I have seen use a 10 ohm resistor in parallel with the coil.
I agree with you here too, but i have seen 4.7 and 6.8 ohms also, but usally it is 10 ohms.Why struggle with this one's odd darlington transistors and errors on its pcb layout, schematic and in its parts list?
I dont disagree here either, but it is up to each one wich project to build ;D
//Staigen -
I have seen a lot of these resistor/inductor combination, but they have all been wounded over the resistor and connected at the end of the resistor, the resistor itself usally is between 1 ohm and 10 ohm. The resistor lowers the Q of the coil!
The coils you have done is just fine, maybee you should spread the windings a little.
//Staigen -
Hi
The resistor shall also be connected to the coil and have the value of 1 ohm!
Read the description, even if it is not very clear, the resistor and the coil is parallelled

Hi again Madame
You know your theory well enough to ruin my project
I will change my frequency to 10Khz
No, increase the current drive instead, with a pair of transistors! :)

Hi there Audioguru
I was also suspicious to the TIP26 transistors i did a little search on the net, and it seems that they do exists. But i also think the whole PSU is a bad joke. ???
