  1. No no no! Not your decoupling caps, your coupling caps! ??? A little schematic would be fine too! ;D //Staigen
  2. How is it to be a whole year older than you where yesterday? ;D Have a nice birthday with a lot of electronics presents! [move] :) :D ;D :) :D ;D :) :D ;D :) :D ;D :) :D ;D :) :D ;D[/move] //Staigen
  3. Hi Sometimes ceramic caps can act as a "microphone", can it be this behaviour of ceramics that cause your problem? Do you have any ceramic coupling caps in your circuit? By using a 3.6V zener, properly biased, i belive you can hear its noise clearly by using only a 386 Amp at 200 times amplification! //Staigen
  4. Hi all Tony_Stoynov have encountered some strange behaviour in some 78xx regulators. I dont recognize this, but maybee someone else have had this problem too. We let Tony describe the problems he had, and he's remedys. Maybee someone also know why. //Staigen
  5. The battery was not in the compost, it was outside, behind a wood wall. And the worms comes up fast if you put 220V in the soil. ;D ;D //Staigen
  6. Hi Well, i dont know how i should put it, i'm not so good in the enlish language ;D When i was young(10-15years old, about) we had an angry gardener living here, and when we where there, trying to steal his vegetables and fruit, he was hunting us, and to revenge we put a 1.5V battery cell with wires to his compost. The wires was buried in the soil at each end, and the battery was hidden behind the compost, digged down a little, and the compost did not work. This was done in the spring, and in the spring the next year he found the battery and reported it to the police, but they didn't cought us. This "trick" was told to us by one of the fathers of my friends. Also, when we was going fishing, and needed worms for the hook, we put 220V into the ground, and all worms around immediately turned up above ground, several meters around. As you see, i havent always been a nice guy 8) :P ;D //Staigen
  7. Hi frt Is it clearer now, but the 100n caps seems to be ceramic ones, too //Staigen
  8. What does faceplant's second formula stands for then? //Staigen
  9. Who? Me? I dont remember, i was in the elctronics scool at 1963-1965! But i have a feeling that the first one looks like the formula for inductance, but i'm not sure. Is the second one the formula for inductance? Isn't it for something else? But i'm not sure here either. When i construct coils i use nomograms and programs. //Staigen
  10. Hehe, we are really offtopic now ;D Maybee you should help f4cepl4nt with his question. //Staigen
  11. Its okay Logan, but it clutter up the forum, just like we are doing now :P //Staigen
  12. Hi Logan Why didn't he delete this one then? //Staigen
  13. Hi What have TV:s to do with inductance? ??? ??? ??? //Staigen
  14. I agree with you Audioguru, did you see the "wink" at the end of my post ;) //Staigen
  15. Hi Ok Dont you think 10 ohms resistors will give rise to crossover, use at least 47 ohms resistors. That will be just fine, but, you must have at least one ground connection between the two. A little schematic will clarify things. //Staigen
  16. Hey, where is my replyes, they where here just a minute ago? And Audiogurus reply is gone too? And someone have changed Antes reply too! What is going on with E-Lab? I dont recognize it anymoore! ;) //Staigen
  17. Hey, that pictures wasn't there before! So it is a model motor, a glow plug engine. Why didn't you tell us that earlier? Reduce the compression, and it will not preignite that easy! //Staigen
  18. Hi sinn If the diesel engine you have is preigniting the fuel injection pump is adjusted wrong. Maybee there is something wrong with the injection nozzles too. If the engine starts to glow then run for your life, it's soon will explode, and you can get hit by parts flying around! Why do you run it with fuel that it is not constructed for? //Staigen
  19. Hi To awright: I could not have saying it in a better way myself. I aggree fully with you. To shaiqbashir: I will make a little schematic for you, and put it up in your other thread, the one about your stepper motor. //Staigen
  20. Hi robinnnn Have you tried the manufacturers site, often you can ask questions about their products there? //Staigen
  21. Hey, come down, both of you! :o //Staigen
  22. Hey premece, watch your language, and havent you learn to write in scool! //Staigen
  23. Hi What kind of gardeners are you two, dont ever put any kind of current into a compost, the compost will die! The worms shy electricity to every extent! And the bacterial culture dont like it, and go to rest, and will die soon. //Staigen
