?? ??? :P Who? Me? What do you mean?
A link to the project would be nice! ???

Hi novoid2003
I have been looking in my english/swedish dictionary for the word "domotics",
but did not found anything. What does the word mean?

Hi frt
idont under stand the parts indicated in the pcb iwant to know the values of the resitors coz i saw that ther is -
Hi
Oops, that was a BIG question, there are written a whole book about it, but i will
try to show you. first we have to talk a little about the transformer, it have 40 V
out only at its rated current, at low or none current output it have larger output
voltage, that you have to measure. But lets say that you have a ideal transformer
that have 40V output at all its current output up to its rated load, then the
rectified and smothed output DC voltage is 40 times 1.41 = 56.4 minus the drop
over the rectifier diodes, about 1.2 V = 55.2 Volts at zero current. But, due to the
transformer is rising its output at low or zero output the voltage is going to be higher.
Hope this solve some of your questions.

Hi dummer, velcome to the forum, nice to have you here ;D
The DC voltage is roughly the square root of 2 times higher, minus the
voltage drop across the rectifier diodes, when properly smoothed, and
without a load.

Hi robinnnn, and welcome to this forum, nice to have you here ;D
I hope you will be active, and ask a lot of questions and answer
to others when there is something you know, and participate in a lot
of discussions and have fun. ;D
Now to your question
You have the IBM part number, why dont you use that one?IBM -
Hi Xenobius
I would buy an extra IDE controller(is it IDE?) !!! ;D

Hi sssaaa
How is it going with your FM-DXing?

Hi again jc_lim3
If you switch out your 74HC365 to a SN74LS07 it will work, at the same time
remove the PNP transistor and the 2.2K and 10K resistors. connect the 4.7K
resistor between 12V and the output of SN74LS07, also connect this to the
mosfet gate. Maybee you should have a pair of complemantary driving
transistors between the SN74LS07 and the mosfet's gate to increase the switching speed.

Hi jc_lim3
You haven't suplied us with enough information! ???
The smitt-trigger, what is that, is it feeded from an input of a microcontroller? ???
What is the output from the smitt-trigger? Open collector?
Also, the gate cap of the mosfet makes it switch slow.

Oh, sorry, i read your post wrong, excuse me

Hi
Is possible post any Electronics for You Magazine here?
I saw some interesting projects in this magazine.
Just post it, we are waiting!By the way, i cannot found this magazine at Emule
Get it elswere then!

Hi Cryonic
Thank you for sharing your nice thoughts
I also like the warmth sound of a tube amp
I have some tubes too, about 1000-1500 i belive
Thanks again

Hi Mr Heckles
Good to hear that it works! Have a nice weekend, and good luck with your project! ;D

Hi
How did you make your -5Volt?

Hi CPW, welcome to E-Labs Forum! ;D Nice to have you here! ;D ;D ;D

Hi again
Maybee there is an another solution after all, i didn't thought of it at first!
The smitt-trigger- action resistors, do they need to be that big? Is it possible
to rise them to, lets say, 100K or so? Than the current throu the switches are
reduced, and also the voltage. Also an another possibillity come to my mind,
that we take later.

Hi
The other method is called BFS and stands for Brute Force Solution, in
other words, use a relay! At least for the malfunktion switches. A DPDT
relay, together with the MAX333, or a 4PDT relay without the MAX333!

Hi
Isn't that one similar to one of the amps here on this site?
You cant use a simple telescope antenna for DX-ing!
The circuit seems to be a working circuit, but aso check the
cirquit, that is similar, here at E-Lab.
And use a good antenna, else you won't be hearing anything!

Hi
I didn't get that!
Are "limit" an input or outpt to the machine?
Are "forward limit" an input or output to the macine?
Are "reverse limit" an input or output to the macine?
Maybee they should be ored or anded together?

Hi sinn
What kind of engine is this? A stationary engine? A truck engine? Any other
kind of engine? Can this coils be removed in a simple way(without dismantling
the engine)? Are they electrically insulated? Is it glow plugs, found in some
diesel engines? Questions are many, since you didn't supply us with enough
information in the beginning, before you can get an answer.
