  1. Im not an expert but I would first use 1 leg of the 220v ac resulting in 110V ac, then a full wave bridge rectifier, filter capacitor, then a voltage regulator. If the motor load is constant you could probably get by with a suitable resistor in place of the reg. The res value would depend on the motor load. But thats just me.....
  2. Hey guys, I'm looking for ideas for a timer circuit, basically I want to make a remote window roll up/ down function for my car using the factory door lock remote. I want to sense the .5 sec 12v pulses going to the power door locks. I need to start a 3 second timer with the first pulse, then close an output if another pulse is detected within the 3 second window. It also must reset after the 3 seconds has elapsed. I dont think a simple RC circuit will be dependable enough to maintain a 3 second window. If within a 3 second time frame I press the remote lock twice within 3 seconds it closes an output to the the auto up switch, conversely if I press the remote Un-lock twice within 3 seconds it closes an output to the the auto Down switch. I have the auto switching part worked out, but I need help with the time part.
