  1. Sir, First of all i express my gratitude for the interest so taken for converting CD-ROM drive into Audio player. But, I need it to convert to MP3, possibly VCD too. The problem is that can the MPEG card, which is readily available in the market be interfaced to CD-ROM's data cable output socket in order to process the same and get the things done by adding one more audio amplifier for speakers ? regards, shamim_India. ====
  2. Sirs, Can anyone has the schemetic complete circuit diagram using TLO74 used in Graphic Equalizer or Mic Mixer Circuit? If possible PCB layout is also highly appreciated. If not, at least use of TLO74 as Graphic Eq. or mic. mixer. regards, Shamim_india.
  3. Dear Audioguru, thanks for your immediate response. You have sent me the vu meter built around (LEDs). The circuit i need is different. I mean to say that after the pre-amplifier out, it should be connected and the vu meter called db meter has the needle deflection, not LEDs. I hope you understand by now. However, I appreciate your immediate response and guidance. Regards, Shamim_India. ====
  4. Sirs, Any idea on how to convert externally (without having PC), a CD-ROM drive of (Samsung 52x) to audio CD player or possibly MP3 player. Simple Powersupply +12V,Gnd, +5V & Gnd. available? Can MPEG card be wired, if so how? Regards, Shamim-India. ====
  5. Sirs, Does anyone have complete schematic or part list required for a simple dB meter driver built around transistor/IC? Regards, Shamim-India. ====
  6. Sir, While thanking you for the reply, it is very cumbersome to get the IC in India and to make a pcb. Rather, I would prefer a simple circuit or complete schematic/pcb layout/component layout with IC datasheet. So, that i can make out a pcb for that and fit it unto my mic input (tape deck) and the delay adjustable by volume control to a max of (120 or 130 us. arppx.). Does any circuit have this facility? I think simple transistor (cascading form) built around some R/C network will also have some echo effect. I appreciate your immediate feedback and also need help from you further. Regards, Shamim-India. ====
  7. Sirs, Can anyone help me out finding the design parameters required for making a Stepdown transformer of a rated output of 3 Amp/12VDC from 220V AC mains (in India). viz. AC winding wire turns (swg.), DC winding wire turns (swg), CRGO core type (how to select laminates, which No.), Derive the core area for the rated output, on which the turns depends. regards, shamim
  8. Sirs, Can anyone tell me with datasheet of the easily available Microphone delay/reverbing/echo IC. I need this to fit it unto my Tape Deck at the Mic input? Any suggestions on this front are welcome. Regards, Shamim ====
  9. thanks a lot to you, Sir for guidance and for keeping updated. regards shamim ====
  10. Sirs, I introduce myself as an electronic hobbyist and into the field of repair & maintenance of different branded (Sony, AIWA, Sharp, National) audio products. For this I need often the schematic diagrams of different brands to ease my sorting out problems and ease maintenance etc. Can anyone help me out from where can i get circuit diagrams of different models etc. Regards, shamim_india. ====
  11. thanks for the photo of Rising Model: PC007 But, I want the schematic diagram of it. Can you pls. help me out on this front pls.? regards, shamim ====
  12. Sirs, Can any one guide me designing of a low noise, high gain amplifier used for Cassette Tape Head/Dynamic Mic. /Condenser Mic. amplifer? The complete circuit wired around easy to get (in terms of availability) is solicited. Will TLO74 will meet the above parameter requirements? Regards, Shamim ==== :)
  13. Sir, Thanks for the guidance on the above. Hope to get similar co-operation in future. regards, shamim ====
  14. Sirs, Can anyone clarify the difference between rms value and pmpo calculation, with respect to audio amplifier ICs. ICs datasheet shows 4.5w, whereas the pmpo is written as 40watt. Is it the 10x times of rms? regards, shamim ====
  15. Sir, No. It is not the ground terminal of any metal properties. Because, the circuitry inside the volume control shows some carbon connectivity, as if used as feed back purpose. Any idea on it pls.? regards, shamim
  16. Thanks for the pains taken for searching of M51161P. Regards, shamim ----
  17. Hello! Can anyone tell me about the function of the 7th Pin of Volume Control. What does it mean? I understand about 3-leg rotate type volume control (Mono) and 6-leg rotate type volume control (Stereo) application, but I do find volume controls of Japan/Singapore/Malayasian origin, which has 7th leg situated back to the single line 6-legged vol. controls. I found the volument control of (B50K) like this. 7 o o o o o o o 1 2 3 4 5 6 Can anyone clarify...pls do not hesitate or mind for my poor english. If not understood, i will try to convince otherwise. Please help!!! regards, shamim-india. ====
  18. Sir, I already have datasheet for LA4460 & LA4461 which are identical, with serially Pin-reversal. Anyway, thanks again for the same. Please help me as to where can i get circuit diagram/schematic diagram of a particular brand model wise. Regards, Shamim ====
  19. Sir(s), I wholeheartedly thank you very much for the pains taken guiding me on the above. But, still I have not reached the goal. The Rising Radio Cassette Recorder (Made in Japan) have the ICs LA2000 (Plunger drive), M51161P for ALC & Pre-amplifier/Mic/Rec. Amp., LA4461 & LA4460 for Power Amplifier) with Detatchable speaker system. Regards. Shamim ====
  20. Can any one help me out finding the Brand Name: Rising (Japan Make, Model: PC-007 Schematic Circuit Diagram). This is Single Deck Radio Cassette Recorder and is in a dead condition now. I need any sort of help which might land me getting it done successfully!!! IS there anyone on this front to help me out??? Truly yours, Shamim-India. ====
  21. Thanks for the information. My Radio/Cassette recorder is now in dead condition. I very much need the datasheet for M51161P, which may be the MIC/Equalisation/Line in/ALC etc. This is used in RISING Radio Cassette Recorder (Single Deck) Metal set of Japan Make, Model # PC 007. The PCB mounted (with M51161P & LA2000) unto the Deck mechanism clearly mentioning the connection of the stereo head. So, I need to know the circuit diagram/data sheet for the same. Regards, Shamim ====
  22. hi, Can anyone help me out whether M51161P & M51162P 20-Pin DIP are pin compatible and identical? I am finding it very very difficult to get datasheet for M51161P, but however, I am being able to trace out datasheet for M51162P. Are they identical and can be direcctly replaced or modification in circuitry needed. Regards, Shamim-India.
  23. hi, My sincere thanks for providing me the datasheet of LA2000. But, i very much need the datasheet of M51161P, which is obsolete and discontinued IC. So, IC parameters required for replacement etc. Can u pls tell me if M51162P is identical and can be directly replaced? Thanks you once again. I am also joining unto your website......hope to explore further , i remain. truly yours, Shamim ====
  24. [glow=red,2,300][/glow] Can anyone help me out finding datasheet for M51161P and LA2000. Is there any website whereby i can find out the same. These ICs are used in Stereo Cassette Recorder. Awaiting an early response on this front. ....shamim
