  1. here i've attached the firing circuit for scr...need ur help to clarify my doubts.. thanks scr_triggering_circuits.zip
  2. thanks for ur kind attention... actually i was assigned to design a single phase full wave controlled rectifier using center-tapped transformer... input will be 240rms ... load for this rectifier will be a DC motor.. my aim is to provide a variable DC output voltage ranging from 0-60Vdc so that i'd control the dc motor...but im not really sure that whether the speed of the motor can be controlled by just varying the firing angle of the thyristors(im using SCR's)... or not!! now, problem is dont to design the control circuits(zero crossing detector, pulse generator, pulse transformer(isolation))....
  3. hi..currently im doing my final yr project on "single phase controlled rectifier(scr) for DC motor"...im having problem in designing the scr triggering circuit..my objective is to provide variable dc voltage so that i'd control the speed of motor.. im stuck already...my presentation would be on coming Sept.. at least i must manage to submit the simulation result of the said circuit to my lecture.. im helpless now.. would appreciate ur help if you could give me any sample circuits..plz help me!!! rgds, sasikumar
