Our group of students would like to build a simple vending machine, the one that works on coins. The problem is we know very little about how a vending machine works. Please assist us, we will appreciate assistance about this matter. Thank you in advance. :)

I've read somewhere in this forum that baking soda mixed with muriatic acid and some water is a good etching solution, I forgot the exact mixture though, but I'm sure you can search it.
