Hmm thats correct but my situation is bit different then that of the TV TV has 1 transmitter and 1 ir receiver and all the functions are controlled by the code at receivers end. Mean 1 carrier freq which is sync with the receiver. In my case there are 1 transmitter but 8 different receivers are different location all have same function.

hi there am working on IR transmitter receiver. I need 8 different TTL inputs (parallel port) and i have to design a circuit which can switch 8 relays at 8 different points.... What i want is to transmit 8 different frequencies for each input.........................bla bla bla the things which are confusing me: - how to produce these frequency either by 555 timer or some quartz crystal or so RLC oscillator..... - What frequencies to chose Peace

So you mean that i should use opto triac like MOC 30XX....... and another TRIAC with it? Y 2 TRIACz?

Hi all Am working on a project for switching air conditioner A/C on and off through PC. The main idea is to use PC parallel port to switch the A/C. I have designed a circuit (schematic attached). As i have no experience of playing with [glow=red,2,300]mains[/glow]. So i need some comments/advise on this circuit will it work and how to make it safe. Thanks all
