  1. I'm trying to get all of the electronics up and working for my RepRap, and I'm having trouble at the first components I'm attempting to prove, my Stepper Drivers. I have four of the v2.3 Stepper Drivers, and all four exhibit this behavior similarly. Basically, they'll come on and work great for 30-60 seconds and then become unresponsive to input from my Arduino. The four LEDs that indicate the power status for a given channel will flicker in a seemingly random manner, and as I said it becomes unresponsive to input. The sketch I'm running on my Arduino is Adrian's simple sketch he offered for driving the motor to spline itself. After some forum searching the best guess I could make was with my PSU needing a load on all channels for it to provide power properly, so I've soldered up a circuit with 3 100 Ohm 10 Watt resistors grounded to create a light constant load. The PSU in question is a new 500 Watt EATX and the voltage output seems stable on my Multi-Meter but I do not have an O-Scope so I have no idea how clean the supply is. Has anyone encountered anything like this? Any ideas on what my problem might be? Thanks in advance, ________________ Life Insurance Quotes resume writer
  2. Hi guys! I want to make a device that will send 1 or 0 OR true or false to the computer. Here's the scenario. I want to make that device, then when 1 or true is sent to my program in the computer(windowsXP), a sound will be playing. so the questions are: (from a total noob) How will I make that device? How to connect it to the computer? (usb? or something else?) How will my program communicate with that device?(i think, my program will only be listening inputs from the device. The device must have 8 toggles(i mean, 8 peices of 1 or 0) Please help me with this, I badly need it. Thanks a lot. by the way, I know how to program in vb6,c++(im a game developer). I hope I can make this device. thanks a lot in advance. __________________ Life Insurance Quotes resume writer
  3. I have just completed all the Ardunio electronic and I cannot make my stepper motor drive. All 3 LED's come on and 2 change colour but as soon as I plug in the stepper either the leds go out or the power supply trips . When I put a multi meter accross the outputs I get about 10v over a and b and the same over c and d. I am guessing that I have wired up the stepper motor incorrectly unless anyone else has any other ideas. It is the motor from bits from bytes. I have wired together blue and red/white and made blue/white A and red B Then wired together black/white and green then made green/white C and black D.
