Hi Rondel... I think you try on 18v with diode couple connecting in series. It will not damage. It has features like Fast charge, constant current 1C, and constant voltage 14.8V, cutoff current 0.01C. The former 18V direct-current tools and the shells of chargers should not be modified, which not only saves opening time and cost but improves the efficiency of the products.
