  1. This is from the project: "A power source for simple LED projects." (I can't comment directly to the Project. So, I'm commenting here.) You can also string 'x' number of LED's in series until, the combined voltage drops add up to the total supply voltage. Ex. for DC supply: + o---->|------>|----->|-------+ 3.6vdc @ 20mA (1.2v + 1.2v + 1.2v) | V For AC supply: o-----+--|<---+---|<---+---|<----+-(x100 LED's)-+ | | | | | +-->|---+--->|---+--->|----+-(x100 LED's)-+ 120vac @ 20ma (1.2v + 1.2v + 1.2v + etc...) | o-------------------------------------------------+ ...etc...
