  1. i'm doing my final year project. There are many examples way of making a PC-Based osilloscope. Different of hardware and software approach. May i know which approach would u all prefer of getting the hardware and software u choose to set up?
  2. hey guys! i found out my project consists of 2 stages- Hardware and Software. For hardware stage... consists of interfacing the analog to digital converter(ADC) with the PC through the parallel port(RS232). For software stage... It's is a DOS based software written in the 'C' language. Do you guys have any ideas of setting up the hardware? thanks in advance.
  3. My Objectives is to design n construct hardware for data acquisition, to interface the PIC microcontroller input, then medium through RS232. design a windows based application capable of displaying low-frq waveforms in real-time. Does anyone have any experience on these set up?
  4. Thanks Ante... it is to design and construct hardware required for data acquisition. if i use a soundcard interface, would i've have to use PIC microcontroller which transfer the data to the PC (vis RS232)?
  5. the hardware for building a PC Oscilloscope. What is the hardware made of? any suggestion for the hardware? Thks Bro!
  6. thanks for your reply! As i know the flow => Device-->ADC-->Interface-->PC Display. The Device is to retrieve the signal, any suggestion for the Device?
  7. Does anyone know about setting up a PC Oscilloscope? or done any similiar one? ::)
