you could detect the pulses with any computer device if you plan on using a computer then program it to count when the input recives a signal and stop counting when the signal goes low. then just X the time by money..... i hope it is ok to give links... but i used a company called measurement computing and you can get a device there that could do this.... iam sure there are different ways and maybe even better but i just like programming the computer interface devices... cheers...

i was wondering if anyone has any skmatic on a 0-24volt power supply with maybe 1a. i would like 120v ac in so i can plug it in easy and up o 24 dc out for testing small designs..

you know you can make the desgin and send it out someone will make it on a board like 60 dollars..

there are some good devices like the PMD1024 it is from measurement computing that you can program in c and are eazy to learn.. also on Ebay you can find some nice kits. for like 5-10 dollars.

there was a site called the big masterbation of ic it had all the ic chips and there pinouts. grate site if you could find it.

ok iam making a stun glove for a school project. well i know if i take the inside of a disposable camera connet wires to the cap and some other stuff it will work. it gives off 600 volts ...if iwant to make it give off more would just getting a bigger cap work or should i use two caps.

hello, iam new to here but was hopeing someone could answer this question. Were can i go to apply for electronic contest. me and 4 of my friends build stuff all the time. we all have BA in EET and would like to enter some contest.
example. one day i saw they had a contest were you had to build a vechial that could drive on its own for over 500 miles using its own build in gps system. Now i did not get to enter this but would of if know about it in time. so ifyou know of any.... plz post it

hello,
ok i got an 24v power supply going to a POT. i then get 5V from the POT.
the POT is 2 watts 5k. The laser lights are pulling 65MA and are 5V This will not work? if i connect it to The pot it, the voltage drop is too much.. now the question is what kind of POT should i get? more or less watts or ohms, and whould it have any effect on the 24Vs comming in...(iam using the 24 volts for another divice) any help would be good thanks.
